Natural black curled hair
This provides a further option to the white hair, both being the key to the delightful feel of the superior models in the Windsor Bed Company range.
Cashmere
This is an ultimate upholstery filling, providing unsurpassed softness and durability.
Lambswool
A luxury layer which is softer than hair and is responsive and supportive. It remains warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Silk
When carded with wool, silk adds a further soft luxurious feel to the surface of the mattress.
Cotton felt
Provides the predominant comfort layers allowing the mattress to breathe and recover shape rapidly.
Visco-elastic pressure relieving foam
This pressure relieving material is heat sensitive and softens as it absorbs body heat, thereby reducing or eliminating pressure points on the body.
Talalay latex
Pure natural latex provides one of the finest natural support systems. As well as being hypoallergenic, it is self ventilating, bacteria resistant and highly resilient. Pure natural latex has the ability to return to its original profile and therefore will conform to all body shapes, and will lengthen the life of the mattress. These inherent return capabilities avoid the need for turning as often as conventional mattresses.
Reflex foam
This is a branded man-made filling, now widely found in luxury upholstery. The Windsor Bed Company feature this in selected models and also in every mattress in the Mattress Range which is designed for use on slatted and hard top bed frames.
Polyester soft fibre
This is a man-made filling which is hypoallergenic and is beneficial both at the top and base of mattress fillings, particularly on Non-Turn mattresses.
Bonded fibre
A deeper polyester layer offering resilience and comfort.
